Mickey Bey got a shockingly wide scorecard as he took a split decision from Miguel Vazquez on the undercard of Floyd Mayweather vs. Marcos Maidana.
Still, it seemed to most that Vazquez had probably done enough to earn a decision win, but nothing is certain on a Mayweather undercard with a fighter whose camp is decked out in TMT apparel, as was the case for Bey.
Somehow, after twelve close rounds which likely tilted Vazquez’s way, Bey not only earned a split decision victory, but one judge saw it 119-109 (or 11 rounds to 1) for him.
The official scorecards read: 115-113 Bey, 115-113 Vazquez, 119-109 Bey.
We’re now one more undercard fight away from main event time between Mayweather and Maidana.
