These will kick in starting in 2015-16 and are the result of a project where Mavericks owner Mark Cuban solicited design ideas from fans.

— Dallas Mavericks (@dallasmavs) September 23, 2014 Training camp is just around the corner, so now’s the time for NBA teams to unveil their new looks before the start of the season. This is what the Dallas Mavericks’ new alternate uniforms will like starting in 2015-16. The blue ones will worn for eight games that year, according to Mavericks owner Mark Cuban. Dallas will then have the option to also use the white and/or green ones should they see fit.
The new uniforms are a result of a crowd-sourcing project by Mavericks owner Mark Cuban. The winner is Geoff Case, a Dallas-area brand designer. Cuban made it clear right off the bat that the Mavericks would own whichever design they ultimately chose, should they choose one.
For now, the Mavericks are expected to keep their regular uniforms, though there’s a chance they too change in the future.
