Mets coach says Jacob deGrom showed ‘a very large sack’ in Game 5 win

Well, that’s a compliment.

When asked what Game 5 starting pitcher Jacob deGrom showed in the Mets’ dramatic 3-2 win over the Dodgers Thursday evening, his pitching coach Dan Warthen provided quite the colorful reply after the match.

And that line likely came right before the Slip ‘n Slide party madness. Imagine what he will say afterwards.
