Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Allen Robinson missed the end of the team’s 31-20 loss to the Houston Texans on Sunday. The wide receiver suffered what was reported as a leg contusion in the fourth quarter in a collision with Houston safety Lonnie Ballentine.
Allen Robinson leaves with leg bruise; fantasy status in limbo
The Jacksonville receiver was seen on a crutch after the game Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Ballentine had to be carted off but Robinson left under his own power, though the wide receiver was seen using a crutch after the game. Robinson caught six passes for 86 yards and a touchdown before the injury on Sunday. After he left, the team leaned heavily on Bryan Walters, who caught eight passes for 87 yards.
Wide receiver Allen Hurns (two catches for 30 yards and a score) and tight end Julius Thomas (seven for 78 and a touchdown) were also key contributors to the team’s offense.
Fantasy impact: The fact that the Jaguars looked so much to Walters after Robinson’s injury was interesting. Hurns and Thomas would have been the best bets. It certainly looks like Walters will be involved if Robinson has to miss any time.
We’ll see what the first couple days of the week reveal about Robinson’s injury, but for now he should be viewed as cautiously optimistic for Week 7. Robinson has established himself as a WR2 so far this year, with Hurns just a notch below.
