It's been a strange year for Andrew Luck.
Andrew Luck can’t quite pull off a 4th-quarter comeback for the Colts

The Colts' signal-caller continued to struggle with turnovers this week, and tossed two picks in an abysmal first half against the Saints, drawing a chorus of boos from a displeased home crowd. Those two interceptions moved Luck's turnover tally to 32 in his last 21 games, and the result of those were what you might expect. Indy went into the half down 20-0, and the Saints pushed that lead to 27-0 with a Mark Ingram rushing touchdown early in the third quarter.
But, Luck did what he’s done many times over his career and got his team back into the game.
He connected with T.Y. Hilton twice for long touchdowns -- the first an 87-yard score, the longest of his career -- the second a 47-yarder, and all of a sudden, we had a game on our hands. With Indianapolis' defense holding the Saints at bay, Luck hit Donte Moncrief up the seam for an 8-yard touchdown with 3:05 remaining, closing the gap to six at 27-21.
But Luck ran out of magic. The Colts' quarterback, who had eight fourth-quarter comebacks in the first two years of his career but has just two since, couldn't will Indy to a win. The Colts failed to recover the subsequent onside kick and then allowed Drew Brees and the Saints to pick up a first down, which sealed the win for New Orleans.
Despite the furious second-half comeback attempt, it was another slow start from Andrew Luck, whose first completion of the game didn’t come until 9:09 in the second quarter. This was the first game of his career that Luck has started 0-of-5, and his two interceptions really put the Colts in a hole early on. Luck has now thrown multiple interceptions in six of his last seven games, and his performances of late have had fans and analysts scratching their heads.
