UFC 192: Start time, TV schedule and what to read for Cormier vs. Gustafsson

UFC 192 takes place tonight (Sat., Oct. 3, 2015) inside Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, featuring a 205-pound pay-per-view (PPV) main event between division champion Daniel Cormier against top-ranked Light Heavyweight contender, Alexander Gustafsson.

Unsurprisingly, the primary focus this week has been on former champion, Jon Jones, who escaped jail time after pleading guilty to hit-and-run charges in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Indeed, “Bones” has cast a huge shadow over the festivities this weekend, most likely because he is the most dynamic, dominant fighter in the sport today.

Not to mention, he also holds wins over Cormier and Gustafsson.

Daniel Cormier vs. Alexander Gustafsson will headline the five-fight UFC 192 PPV main card that will start promptly at 10 p.m. ET. In addition to the headlining attraction, former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Light Heavyweight champion Rashad Evans will return from a two-year hiatus to battle Ryan Bader in the co-main event.

It’s a meaningful showdown, but it replaces a super important scrap between former Welterweight champion Johny Hendricks and Tyron Woodley. The super talented 170-pound standouts were supposed to settle their score in the co-main event. but “Bigg Rigg” was forced to bow out because of weight cutting issues ahead of the official weigh in.
