Holding a 34-28 lead over Washington State, Cal was facing a 3rd and 36 from their own 4 yard line. Not wanting to risk a safety that would put the Cougars squarely in the driver’s seat to take the lead, the Golden Bears elected to run a draw play with Vic Enwere. And then this happened.

Washington State isn’t known for their defense, but still. What an incredible effort from Enwere.
The drive would eventually end on a failed fourth down attempt, but this run from Enwere allowed Cal to continue to eat up the clock in an effort to protect their lead. An effort that was eventually successful.
