Breeders’ Cup Classic 2015: Time, TV schedule and post positions
The 32nd annual Breeders’ Cup Classic will take place on Saturday afternoon at Keeneland Racecourse in Lexington, Ky., with American Pharoah looking to add to its Triple Crown with a win at another premier race.
The Breeders’ Cup Classic is the ninth race of a busy Saturday from Kentucky, with five hours of television coverage on two networks. NBCSN will televise the first three hours, starting at 1 p.m. ET, with NBC picking up coverage at 4 p.m.
Post time for the 1¼-mile Classic race is 5:35 p.m., with nine horses, all three years and older, in the field. American Pharoah starts in fourth position on Saturday. He will face old friends Frosted and Keen Ice, who finished second and third, respectively, at the Belmont Stakes, and battled in the Kentucky Derby field as well.
Keen Ice starts in second position in the Classic, with Frosted third.
