Buffalo Sabres’ new goal song is the hip-hop classic ‘Let Me Clear My Throat’

So we reported on Jack Eichel scoring his first goal for the Buffalo Sabres Thursday night. Even better though, was the song that the Sabres played to celebrate that moment. Cue, in historic and random fashion, DJ Kool’s hip-hop dance classic from 1996, “Let Me Clear My Throat.”

What makes it even funnier is the fact that Eichel, who is still just 18, was born AFTER the song dropped. DJ Kool’s timeless hit came up in April of 1996, a solid six months before Eichel was born in October.
