LUNCH JUDGMENT: Jon will rate your lunch between 1 and 10

Believe it or not, lunch has been around for years! Did you eat lunch today? Do you desire judgment? We are here for you.

It has been nearly six months since the last episode of LUNCH JUDGMENT. Since some of you may be new here, this is what we do:

1. You leave a comment below that describes the lunch you ate or are eating today. It is strongly recommended that you include a photo of your lunch.

2. Time permitting, I will respond with a 1-through-10 rating of your lunch. I am not out to hurt any feelings, but I will not shy from the truth, either. I certainly won’t have time to rate every lunch, but I will try to get to as many as I can.

3. You will accept my ruling as absolute, final, and superseding of any and all other rulings on your lunch from any court at the state, federal, or municipal level. My ruling also supersedes international and maritime laws.

In the interests of full disclosure, I will start by rating my own lunch.

This is delivery I ordered from a Thai establishment. I had the same lunch as my friend and associate, SB Nation’s own Dan Rubenstein: chicken with rice, broth, and a ginger soy sauce.

The portion size was just about right for lunch. I would normally prefer just a bit more in the way of vegetables, but not every meal needs to abide by that rule. The ginger soy sauce was delicious, but the quality of this lunch rested entirely on the broth, which, I am delighted to report, was very good.

Very tasty, if a little uneven. I hereby issue myself a lunch rating of 7.8/10.

Your turn.

Friend, what did you have to eat for lunch today?
