The Golden State Warriors are one of only two NBA teams in the modern era to begin a season 15-0 after beating the Denver Nuggets 118-105 on Sunday. Although the Nuggets stayed in the game through three quarters, Golden State turned the game into a blowout in the fourth.

The Warriors join the 1993-94 Houston Rockets and the 1948-49 Washington Capitols as the only teams to win their first 15 games and can set a new record on Tuesday with a home game against the Lakers. It's worth noting that the Rockets beat the New York Knicks in the NBA Finals that year.
Coming into this season as defending champions, Golden State players have talked about having a chip on their shoulders after perceived disrespect this offseason. They also currently boast a scoring margin that’s the best in NBA history.
