Odell Beckham Jr. made a brilliant, caroming catch that sadly didn’t count

Odell Beckham Jr. has somehow convinced physics to do his bidding.

Odell Beckham Jr. has more spectacular catches in his career than he does drops, but against the Dolphins he made a rare mistake after getting wide open down the right sideline with a double move against Brent Grimes.

Yet even when Beckham drops passes, the ball somehow winds up in his arms like a loving child returning home.

This play didn’t count because of Beckham’s other mistake on the play: a pushoff against Grimes that drew an offensive pass interference foul. That doesn’t mean we can’t appreciate this freak occurrence of physics, however.
