We’re just a few minutes into Super Bowl 49, and already there’s controversy.
Refs called running into the kicker on the play above, but the call arguably should have been roughing because the punter got hit on his plant leg. A roughing call would have been 15 yards and a first down. Instead, the Patriots re-tried the punt after declining the 5-yard penalty.


The Women’s National Football Conference Championship will air on ESPN2 this weekend.
