The Pats’ opening drive was stymied after referees missed a roughing call.
Refs called running into the kicker on the play above, but the call arguably should have been roughing because the punter got hit on his plant leg. A roughing call would have been 15 yards and a first down. Instead, the Patriots re-tried the punt after declining the 5-yard penalty.
