Cliff Avril leaves Super Bowl 49 with possible concussion, will not return
The Seahawks have suffered yet another defensive injury during the Super Bowl.

Update: Avril has been ruled out, and will not return.
Avril is questionable to return and being evaluated for a concussion. The injury looked serious while he laid down on the ground surrounded by teammates, but he was able to get up and walk off the field quickly.
The Seahawks are deep with pass rushers -- Avril’s absence likely means backup O’Brien Schofield sees extensive game action -- but Avril is one of the best at what he does. During the regular season, Avril had five sacks and forced fumble in 16 games during the regular season.
The good news for the Seahawks is that they’re starting to assert their dominance in the game. Following Wagner’s interception Russell Wilson and company drove down the field for a touchdown. Wilson hit a wide open Doug Baldwin in the back of the end zone to give Seattle a 10-point lead, 24-14.
