The 139th annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show is officially underway, and the first of two days of judging is in the books. On Monday, four of the seven groups were on display, including Hound, Toy, Non-Sporting and Herding. The final three groups -- Sporting, Working and Terrier -- will all be on Tuesday.

That’s all in advance of the coveted Best in Show award, which will pit the winners of the groups against one another.

With more than 2,700 dogs, it’s a crowded field, but the categories have been whittled down. A 15-inch beagle edged out a bloodhound in the hound category, a shih tzu edged out a Pomeranian in the toy group, a standard poodle beat a Xoloitzcuintli in the non-sporting group and an old English sheepdog won the Herding Group.

We’ve got some video of the winning beagle eating the suit of his owner during the victory interview, because of course, and this lady almost eating her dog’s treat, because sometimes you have to show by doing.

The action on Tuesday will get underway at 8 p.m. ET on USA Network and run through 11 p.m., with the Best in Show crowned toward the end of the broadcast.

But really, what’s the point in even watching any of that when you can just watch this over and over again?
