The 139th annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show was capped off on Tuesday by the appearance of three groups: Sporting, Working and Terrier. The event’s second day saw the selection of the final three breeds of the seven under eventual consideration for Best in Show.

An English Springer Spaniel was the winner of the Sporting Group, the Working Group was topped by a Portuguese Water Dog and a Skye Terrier was the best of the Terrier Group.

One of those dogs, along with the four breeds announced on Monday, will be named the Best in Show at the end of the event. The 2014 Best in Show, Sky the Wire Fox Terrier, was on hand and eager for some camera time:

Of the top breeds on Tuesday, the English Springer Spaniel has earned the most Best in Show distinctions, winning the award three times in the last 21 years.
