LSU’s Jarell Martin hits an IN-GAME BETWEEN-THE-LEGS DUNK
Normally, you have to wait for a dunk contest for somebody to go through the legs.
An in-game between-the-legs dunk is, like, really, really rare. You have to have amazing leaping ability and coordination and a perfect breakaway opportunity -- and the cojones to actually try it in a game and risk getting chewed out by your coach if you miss.
The only player we can remember doing this in a legit, high-level game is Ricky Davis. Someone pulled one off in an NAIA Division II game last year. Former Baylor player Deuce Bello made a name for doing them on multiple occasions in high school.
Not exactly Zach LaVine, but -- LaVine was in a dunk contest!
Martin scored 16 points in the first half against Florida, including seven before the Gators had scored.
