Adrian Beltre invoiced Garrett Richards for broken bats

On Friday night, Adrian Beltre went 0-for-3 against Garrett Richards with three broken bats.

On Saturday afternoon, Richards received a $300 invoice from Beltre for the bats. “Cash only, no checks.”

How did Richards respond? He sent Beltre a signed practice bat hoping to cover the debt.
