Pacquiao vs. Mayweather odds: Late money to Manny, but Floyd still favored
Late money has streamed in on Manny Pacquiao, tightening the lines even more as we are now just hours away from the fight.
Just like Friday, the lines for Saturday night's Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight have tightened a bit more, and now they're about as close as could have been imagined when the fight was signed in February.
Mayweather (47-0, 26 KO) opened at about -285 on the books, and is now down to -186 to -200. This is the closest line that Mayweather has seen since his 2007 fight with Oscar De La Hoya, when he came into the bout around a -125 favorite to win, which he did. That fight broke pay-per-view records, gate records, and basically every other money record that boxing had at the time. This fight will do the same.
Pacquiao (57-5-2, 38 KO), who opened at +225, is now seeing lines between +155 and +175. In short, if you want to win $100 on a Mayweather victory, you put down $186-200. If you want to bet $100 on Pacquiao to win, that would return $155-175. Bettors who got in early bets on Pacquiao must be feeling pretty good at this point, given how much the odds have shifted with the money pouring in on the underdog.
The two featured undercard bouts have not seen much movement, as Vasyl Lomachenko and Leo Santa Cruz are still prohibitive favorites to win their fights. Lomachenko is favored between -3933 and -6000 against Gamalier Rodriguez, while Santa Cruz is between -5000 and -8500 against Jose Cayetano.
