Mayweather vs. Pacquiao live results: Mayweather keeps control in round 8

Floyd Mayweather looking more comfortable the last couple of rounds, and Manny Pacquiao seems to think he needs to make something happen. In our estimation, he’s right. Manny is able to work Mayweather into the corners, but isn’t doing work once there. Pacquiao’s angles, the way he attacks, are being largely nullified by Mayweather, and Floyd’s touching and landing shots this round, boxing at his pace. Manny looks slightly desperate at points, and that speaks to the judges at ringside. It would be hard to imagine a judge scoring this round for Manny Pacquiao, even though he did land a good left hand. Mayweather doing a great job staying at the range he wants, controlling the ring, and not letting Manny Pacquiao do any serious damage against him. We’re seeing a lot of the brilliant of Floyd right now.
