Motorcycles, skateboards and bicycles were on display Friday during Day 2 of the 2015 Summer X Games in Austin, highlighted by Pierre-Luc Gagnon adding another medal to his trophy case.
X Games Austin results, Day 2: Pierre-Luc Gagnon wins another gold medal
The second day of the X Games on Friday was highlighted by Pierre-Luc Gagnon winning gold in the Skateboard Vert Final for his 21st career X Games medal. Laia Sanz won gold in the Women’s Moto X Enduro X Final.


Gagnon scored a 92.33 on his second of three runs in the skateboard vert final on Friday, easily outpacing Paul-Luc Ronchetti (86.00) and Sam Beckett (82.33), who won silver and bronze, respectively.
It was the 21st career X Games medal for the 35-year-old Gagnon, including his ninth gold medal.
In other action, champion motorcyclist Laia Sanz won the Women’s Moto X Enduro X Final with a winning time of six minutes, 37.266 seconds, beating Tarah Geiger by seven seconds.
It was the fourth career X Games gold medal for Saenz, who first competed in 2013.
