It’s not a great draft on paper, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be some potential diamonds in the rough.
MLB Draft order 2015: Complete selection order for Rounds 1-2
Shortstops and college pitchers will likely dominate the first 10 picks in the 2015 MLB Draft.

Day 1 of the 2015 MLB First-Year Player Draft, which takes place on Monday, will see a few highly-touted college pitchers and some intriguing shortstops go off the board early. ESPN’s Keith Law recently projected shortstops to be selected with each of the first three picks. Dansby Swanson, a junior from Vanderbilt, is a favorite to be the first player taken.
High school shortstop Brendan Rodgers might be the highest-rated overall player in the draft, and LSU’s Alex Bregman will be in the mix in the top part of the first round, as well.
College hurlers Dillon Tate and Tyler Jay are trendy top 10 picks. Swanson’s Vanderbilt teammate, Carson Fulmer, is also a candidate to go off the board somewhere in that neighborhood.
The Houston Astros, Colorado Rockies, Atlanta Braves and New York Yankees each possess multiple first-round picks. Here is the draft order for each of the first two rounds, including Competitive Balance Round A, which takes place after the first round.
