Meet 72-year old Mary Davis, USA’s eldest World Games Olympian

The Bocce competitor has competed in the Special Olympics for the past 30 years.

The USA has 344 athletes competing in this year’s Special Olympics World Games, and Mary Davis has the honor of being the eldest member of the delegation. Davis has been competing in Bocce for 30 years, even overcoming the loss of some fingers due to an accident a few years ago.

“My fingers don’t bother me,” says Davis, of her missing digits. “I can use them. I can cook with them. I can sweep with them. I can do anything with them. I’m never gonna stop, because I like it. I love it.”

Watch this video with more of Mary and try not to fall in love with her.
