Tiger Woods missed a putt on 18 that would have put him in the final pairing on Sunday, shooting a third-round 68 on Saturday, two shots off the lead at the Wyndham Championship at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C.

Jason Gore has the 54-hole lead at 15-under after shooting an 8-under 62 on Saturday, matching Jonas Blixt for the low round of the day. Blixt is tied with Woods at 13-under, but got there first so will be in the final pairing with Gore.

Woods three-putted on the par-4 18th hole for his first bogey of the day, missing this par putt that would have placed Woods with Gore on Sunday.

Woods, who shot a 64 Thursday then 65 on Friday, shared the lead after two rounds, looking for his first win in more than two years.

Woods’ last PGA Tour victory came in 2013 at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational. His 2015 season has been by far his worst as a professional, missing the cut in four of his first 10 events. His previous best finish this season was a tie for 17th at The Masters in April.

So far this season, Woods’ best finish in relation to par was 8-under at the Quicken Loans National three weeks ago, where he finished tied for 18th. Woods begins Sunday at 13 under par.

Woods had three birdies on Saturday, and the one bogey on 18. Perhaps the most notable of his 14 pars was on the par-4 10th hole, where he hit this 24-foot putt to save par.

Woods had 31 putts on the day.
