Last night, I remembered the mobile app you published a couple years ago. It was easily the worst weather forecasting app I have ever downloaded in my life. Before all else, I am a journalist, so I thought I would go direct to the source:
You made a terrible weather app
You are responsible for creating the worst mobile weather app of all time. There were a million things wrong with it, and it was terrible. Here are some screenshots.

so, in october 2013 you introduced what Wired named "the worst weather app of all time." why do you think it failed
— Jon Bois (@jon_bois) August 28, 2015 First off, I would like to thank you for your time, and for being willing to participate in this interview. I learned a great deal from your perspective. Below, I’m publishing some of your answers, as well as some screenshots of your app.
@jon_bois I thought WeatherPlank, the weather brought to you by the planking weatherman would never get old
— Corey Anglemyer (@canglem) August 28, 2015 @jon_bois only gave the weather for 2012
— Jane Riley (@janeriley_) August 28, 2015 @jon_bois it had a "share to facebook" feature
— DFS Expert Orange (@roll_orange) August 28, 2015 @jon_bois sent push notifications for individual raindrops
— Thomas Boyt (@thomasABoyt) August 28, 2015 @jon_bois we couldn't afford maps
— James Gardner (@jimmygards) August 28, 2015 @jon_bois I can't say why people disliked an app that constantly emitted a single, booming oboe note to remind them about weather
— David Conway (@davidvconway) August 28, 2015 @jon_bois dating app based on weather preference called Winder
— Rory Cornell (@BigRorDawg) August 28, 2015 @jon_bois it could not accurately tell you the weather
