The local favorites from Lewisberry, Pa., got a walk-off single in the sixth inning to win the U.S. championship at the 2015 Little League World Series, outlasting the team from Pearland, Texas, 3-2 on Saturday afternoon at Williamsport, Pa.

It is the first U.S. championship for Pennsylvania since 1990.
Pennsylvania on Sunday will now face Japan, 1-0 winners over Mexico in the international championship game earlier on Saturday.
Texas jumped out in front in the top of the fourth inning when Marco Gutierrez hit a double to right field that scored teammate Zack Mack. Pennsylvania tied the game back up in the bottom of the fourth with a solo home run by Jaden Henline.
With more than 45,000 fans in the stands, the game set a record for attendance at the Little League World Series.
The 2015 Little League World Series championship game between Japan and Pennsylvania will be televised by ABC on Sunday at 3 p.m. ET.
