There are five teams remaining in The International Dota 2 Championships. Friday will define who will play for the grand prize, and which teams will duke it out for the considerable prize money that comes with finishing third at TI:5.

The remaining field are far from the usual suspects people expected to be in this position at The International, but all are incredibly deserving. CDEC Gaming came from relative obscurity in China to become the most surprising team of the tournament. Evil Geniuses represent USA’s last hope at winning its first International. LGD Gaming looked like juggernauts, until they were humbled on the main stage. Virtus Pro is Europe’s last team, and has fought tooth and nail to still be standing. Finally Vici Gaming started poorly, but quickly returned to form and showed why its a juggernaut.
This is going to be an amazing day of Dota.
How to watch
Broadcast begins live at 1 p.m. ET, with the first game typically beginning around 2 p.m. Competition will continue throughout the afternoon until all games are played.
If you are new to Dota 2 the best stream to watch is the newcomer stream, which focuses more on introductory concepts and less on high-level strategies.
