Of course Iowa State’s Dale PIErson had a PIEsman moment

Honestly, can’t believe we didn’t see this coming.

When we came up with the Piesman Trophy, we wanted it to be something that offensive and defensive linemen at all levels could compete for, from the biggest FBS schools down to Division III. But we ignored one key fact: Iowa State’s Dale Pierson literally has the word “pie” in his name.

Sure, maybe it’s an unfair advantage. But look at how big that guy is! Other football players barely have a chance of bringing him to the ground after that pick. You try telling him you have an objection.
