If you’re in the daily fantasy sports (DFS) game, you need as many tools as possible to help set your lineup. Sure, there are some things you’ll disagree with, but not acknowledging stats or information is usually a mistake. FanDuel had acquired NumberFire to help on some projections for NFL players for each week to give you another tool to help.
FanDuel Daily Fantasy projections, Week 2: Wide receivers
Getting ready to make some money in FanDuel for Week 2? Check out NumberFire’s projections for receivers with some fantasy analysis.

Here are the wide receivers for this week:
Top tier
Antonio Brown is the most expensive receiver this week, but he should be well worth it. The Pittsburgh Steelers are still missing Le’Veon Bell and Martavis Bryant. Plus, Markus Wheaton didn’t look great, so there should be a lot of Antonio. Calvin Johnson will look to bounce back from a rough start against the San Diego Chargers. The Minnesota Vikings couldn’t slow dow the San Francisco 49ers, so expect the Detroit Lions to turn it around. A.J. Green should also have success against the smaller Chargers secondary in Cincinnati.
Bargains
With DeSean Jackson out, Pierre Garcon is really going to have to a lot of responsibility as the top receiving option. He’s also in a favorable matchup against the St. Louis Rams, assuming the offensive line can protect Kirk Cousins. Larry Fitzgerald also gets a nice matchup against the Chicago Bears. Michael Floyd isn’t healthy and the Bears give up a lot of big plays. Andre Johnson at $6,800 could be a nice buy, but he and Andrew Luck lacked chemistry in Week 1. The good news for him is T.Y. Hilton isn’t healthy, but he might get plenty of cornerback Darrelle Revis.
Elite players with sub-par matchups
DeAndre Hopkins is going to have some big games, but he’s set to play with a new quarterback in Ryan Mallett. The Houston Texans will likely struggle to put up points against the stingy Carolina Panthers defense even without Luke Kuechly. Keenan Allen was elite last week, but a sub-par matchup against the Bengals makes him tougher to start.
