Tim Tebow thanks Eagles on Twitter after being cut

As NFL teams were finalizing their 53-man rosters, Saturday provided yet another familiar feeling for Tim Tebow. After failing to make the final cut for the Philadelphia Eagles, the quarterback expressed his gratitude for the organization on Twitter.

Despite flashing a few moments of individual brilliance, Tebow didn’t do enough to earn himself a final spot. While this doesn’t cement Tebow’s NFL career being over, the options are certainly getting slimmer for the 27-year-old.

However, now that Tebow has cleared waivers, all of the other teams can now form a line to see if he’ll sign with them.
