Lacking in effort and resolve all night, the Cavaliers were no match for the Warriors, who led by as many as 43 as they coasted to an easy 132-98 win. It’s the Warriors’ fifth win in a row over the Cavaliers, who suffered their worst defeat of the year.
Curry scored 35 points to lead the Warriors as he shot 12-of-18 from the field and 7-of-12 from deep. He had his usual, at this point run-of-the-mill, set of spectacular plays, but it was the way the rest of the Warriors’ offense was clicking that had the Cavaliers on their heels all night.

Steve Kerr had very serious back surgery this summer that left him unable to coach from the Warriors’ sideline for months. He’s letting assistant Luke Walton coach, and may continue to do so into February. The word all along was that Kerr’s condition was improving and he was up and about at practice, but this is the best sign yet that the former sharpshooter is back to his old self. And the fist pump!

He raced away from Nerlens Noel, received a pinpoint bounce pass from Jose Calderon and tomahawked it terrifyingly as two 76ers defenders stayed out of the way. A nice omen considering Porzingis has missed a strange number of those one-handed tomahawk dunks of late.
A few minutes later, the 76ers let Porzingis dunk again.
