The 76ers forgot Kristaps Porzingis is very tall and loves to dunk on people
It didn’t take long for Kristaps Porzingis to wake up a sleepy 1 p.m. home crowd. He raced away from Nerlens Noel, received a pinpoint bounce pass from Jose Calderon and tomahawked it terrifyingly as two 76ers defenders stayed out of the way. A nice omen considering Porzingis has missed a strange number of those one-handed tomahawk dunks of late.
A few minutes later, the 76ers let Porzingis dunk again.
Maybe the 76ers just wanted everyone to wake up a bit.
