A soccer competition broke out during an Australian Open tennis match
Marco Trungelliti and Grigor Dimitrov are very good tennis players. It turns out they also have some soccer skills. Their moves were on display when a spontaneous back-and-forth broke out after an errant serve during their match at the Australian Open on Wednesday.
Dimitrov got it started with a spinning heel kick of sorts. Not intimidated, Trungelliti connected right back. The only disappointment was Trungelliti’s volley didn’t make it back over the net to see if the kicking continued.
There should be a new rule that if a match hits enough tiebreakers, it is decided by foot volleys.
