It didn’t work. He was called for a foul — and Curry hit a shot that didn’t count after the whistle. And the Warriors blew out the Knicks.
It did leave a mark, though:

Luckily Steph Curry seemed mostly amused, via ESPN:
“Some, uh, great defense,” Curry said with a chuckle when asked about the gash before later nodding when asked if it was Anthony’s hand-to-head combat that left the mark. “I’m glad they called a foul, though.”
