I’m still trying to figure out how this Purdue catch ended up in the receiver’s hands

I’ve watched this a million times. I still can’t figure it out.

Some college football Saturdays are more exciting than others. This week might be one of the slower ones.

With that being said, we did have a very exciting catch happen before our very eyes!

Purdue missed a tipped pass, but then got the ball back!

You’re going to have to just watch this one a few times to understand what I’m talking about.

It took me about six tries to even figure out where the ball was. It didn’t help that Purdue and Iowa have almost the same colors, and it seems like the ball jumped into the arms of tight end Brycen Hopkins.

It was a shining moment in an otherwise business-as-usual game for Purdue.

Elsewhere in the Big Ten, Nebraska played Indiana. Then, their receiver played himself.

Here’s a better angle.

Indiana’s Marcelino Ball went for the interception, but Nebraska’s Brandon Reilly ended up with the ball.

Maybe something’s up with the balls the Big Ten is using this weekend, because they’re really all over the place.
