The San Francisco 49ers held their first practice of Week 7, and they are without Carlos Hyde. The running back was observed walking to practice wearing a sling on his right arm. Hyde suffered a shoulder injury in Week 6. He left the game in the third quarter with the injury, returned for three snaps, and then sat out the fourth quarter. Mike Davis replaced him, getting five carries, while Shaun Draughn added a carry as well.
Carlos Hyde shoulder injury could boost Mike Davis fantasy value

Fantasy impact: The 49ers run game is one of the few positives of this team, and Hyde has been a solid option. Draughn had served as his primary backup the first five weeks, but Davis got the nod over Draughn when Hyde got hurt. Davis is in his second season with the 49ers. He averaged 1.7 yards per carry on 35 rushes as a rookie. He is averaging 1.8 yards per carry on 10 rushes in his second season. The 49ers face a Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense Football Outsiders ranks No. 13 against the run. Davis would be no more than a bye week or injury replacement if he plays.
