The Lions offense could get a big boost this week with Theo Riddick close to a return.

Riddick is poised to return from a two-game absence after suffering an ankle injury in Week 5. He returned to practice this week with a limited session on Wednesday before going full on Thursday and Friday.
The fourth-year back was in the midst of a breakout season before going down. With Ameer Abdullah still on injured reserve, expect Riddick to get a nice workload vs. a struggling Texans defense.
In five games, Riddick has 171 rushing yards and one touchdown to go with 26 receptions for 190 yards and three scores.
Fantasy Impact: Yahoo! ranks Riddick as the 32nd-best running back in Week 8. He faces a Texans defense allowing the sixth-most fantasy points to running backs over the last five weeks.
As long as he is active, put Riddick in your starting lineup.
