The New York Jets have ruled out Eric Decker vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 5. Decker is dealing with a torn rotator cuff, though the Jets are not ready to put him on season-ending I.R., according to New York Post reporter Brian Costello.
Eric Decker injury update: Jets WR out vs. Steelers
Eric Decker will miss another game and could be lost for the season due to his shoulder injury.

A tear in the rotator cuff is a tricky thing to deal with. Depending on the extent of the damage, Decker could return any week now. However, if the injury does not heal enough as the weeks go on, the Jets may be forced to put him on I.R. so he can have surgery to repair the damage.
In a little over two games of action (missed most of Week 3), Decker has caught nine balls for 194 yards and two touchdowns. He is a featured weapon in this offense, so hang on to him for a few more weeks.
Fantasy Impact: It remains unclear when/if Decker will play again this season, so be prepared to cut him if he has surgery and goes on I.R.
