‘Magic: The Gathering’ gave Seahawk Cassius Marsh a care package after his $20,000 card collection was stolen

This story has a happy ending!

Tuesday was rough for the Seahawks linebacker Cassius Marsh. He told The Seattle Times he had been playing Magic: The Gathering, a card game, since he was 11.

Tuesday night, someone smashed the window of his car in downtown Seattle and took the backpack that held the cards out of the backseat.

Marsh had begun seriously collecting once he became a pro, and estimated the losses at more than $20,000.

He didn’t get his cards back, despite offering free tickets to the person who took them.

He did get something else, though.

Look how happy he is!

All’s well that ends well.
