The Houston Texans are up 14-10 over the Jacksonville Jaguars at halftime, but the team was briefly without running back Lamar Miller, who exited the game with what looked to be an ankle injury before returning in the second half.
Texans RB Lamar Miller leaves game vs. Jaguars with apparent ankle injury
Miller was dealing with a shoulder problem, but appeared to hurt his ankle Sunday.

Miller started the game strong with 57 rushing yards on seven attempts, including a 45-yard run that set up an early touchdown. But after one play, Miller was helped off the field by Texans trainers and didn’t return to action for the remainder of the first half.
Earlier in the season, Miller dealt with a shoulder injury but was a full participant in practice and didn’t appear on Houston’s final injury report. The injury that has kept him out of action Sunday appeared to be a problem with his ankle, though.
Miller is a big part of the Texans offense that has struggled to pass the ball with Brock Osweiler at quarterback. Houston didn’t announce an injury for Miller and he returned to the game, which is a relief for a Texans offense that needs him.
