Marcus Mariota has endured injuries and plenty of losses, but in his first 22 starts, the Tennessee Titans quarterback has more four-touchdown performances than any player in NFL history over that span to begin a career.
Marcus Mariota is racking up 4-touchdown games faster than any player in NFL history
No player has ever had more four-touchdown performances in their first 22 games than Mariota.

The second-year quarterback has been on a tear in his last six games, racking up 17 touchdowns with just three interceptions. In Week 10 he threw four touchdown passes against the Green Bay Packers, his third game with at least four passing and/or rushing touchdowns in his last six outings.
As a rookie, Mariota crossed the four-touchdown mark three times, bringing his career total to six in his first 22 games. That’s an NFL record and a big reason why the Titans managed to shake off a 1-3 start to climb back to 5-5.
The game was also the third in Mariota’s career with four touchdown passes, no interceptions, and a completion percentage above 70. No player has ever done that in their first two NFL seasons.
With the No. 30 defense of the Indianapolis Colts up next for the Titans, there’s a good chance Mariota will be able to keep his hot play going and maybe even rack up four touchdowns for the seventh time in NFL start No. 23.
