Tennessee Titans offensive tackle Taylor Lewan was ejected during the team’s win this past Sunday against the Green Bay Packers for pushing an official. On Friday, the NFL fined Lewan $30,387 for the incident, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Taylor Lewan fined $30,000 for contact with a referee in the Titans’ Week 10 win
You just can’t do that.

The official was stepping in between Lewan and Packers defensive tackle Letroy Guion, who were in each other’s faces. The referee had his hand upon Lewan’s chest, trying to separate the two, and Lewan pushed his hand away.
Lewan was given an unsportsmanlike penalty. He’s got a reputation for losing his temper going back to his days as a Michigan Wolverine.
Earlier this season, he got an unnecessary roughness penalty late against the Oakland Raiders that had Kirk Herbstreit very critical of him.
The Titans will need Lewan to handle his temper if they hope to make a playoff push.
