Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict gave fans a little something extra on Sunday during the Bengals’ 16-12 loss to the Bills. He saluted the crowd with double freedom rockets. So, at least he wasn’t trying to snap someone’s neck on the field.

How many fingers is he holding up?
We still don’t know what exactly prompted the middle fingers. But that’s just a minor detail at this point. The NFL isn’t going to care who he was flipping off, because it’s going to fine him anyway.
Johnny Manziel was the last player who got fined, $12,000, for flipping the bird in a 2014 preseason game. A.J. Hawk got a $10,000 fine for finger waving to his own sideline in 2011.
None of those gestures can hold a candle to the time late Titans owner Bud Adams flipped off the Bills’ sideline in 2009. It cost him $250,000.
Burfict has already spent more than $800,000 on fines throughout his NFL career, so what’s a few thousand more for the chance to tell folks what you really think of them?
