Josh Norman said Dez Bryant told him ‘Where I’m from, we unload the clip’

Perhaps things got too serious.

Josh Norman and Dez Bryant have started what appears to be a budding rivalry between the two, one that could possibly put a much-needed spark in the Washington-Dallas rivalry.

The two started butting heads during the Cowboys’ 31-26 win, and at one point, officials had to separate the two, and even go to each individual sideline to speak to each player to diffuse the situation.

After the game, the two got in each others faces again, and things were heated. On the way to the locker room after the game, Bryant said, “Better tell Washington to get their money back,” in reference to Norman’s $75 million contract.

Talking to reporters after the game, Norman said that he went to shake Dak Prescott’s hand, and to apologize for pushing somebody’s hands off of him.

Norman then said, “Then this guy bump into me like, ‘What’s up,” and, “Where I’m from, we don’t lip, we unload the clip, so pretty much whatever you want to do.’”

Norman said, “I don’t do trash and that was trashy on his behalf.”

Bryant saw Norman’s comments, and denied them on Twitter.

He added that if Norman was going to dish it out, he had to be able to take it.

After all of this, Bryant said he regretted his words, at least the interview in which the lesser trash talk was made, and not the comment about “unload the clip.”

This very public spat doesn’t seem like it will stop anytime soon. Norman and Bryant have never been afraid to let words fly, and it seems like after a big Thanksgiving game, a perfect storm is brewing.
