Spurs forward Jonathon Simmons sprinted the length of the floor to get this blocked shot
And then he followed that up with a ferocious one-handed putback slam.

Jonathon Simmons came out of nowhere. The former NBA D-League star for the Austin Spurs broke onto the scene last year with San Antonio and earned favor as a spark plug in Gregg Popovich’s rotation.
Simmons also came out of nowhere Saturday night when he tracked Wizards guard Marcus Thornton down the full length of the court for a vicious chasedown block. Here’s how much room he had to make up to swat Thornton’s would-be lay-up.

On the ensuing possession, Simmons once again came out of nowhere with a monstrous put-back jam off of a LaMarcus Aldridge miss.
Simmons finished with 15 points on 5-6 shooting, and San Antonio advanced to 14-3 on the season by defeating the Wizards.
