The Buffalo Bills are listing Sammy Watkins as questionable vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 12.
Just seeing Watkins possibly playing this week is great news for anyone that grabbed him off the waiver wire recently. Watkins was dropped in nearly every fantasy league when he went on I.R. back on Sept. 30, so he had more time to rest and recover from offseason foot surgery.
In two games this season, Watkins has been limited to six grabs for 63 yards on 11 targets. He missed Week 3 due to lingering pain and discomfort in his surgically repaired foot.
Watkins was then sent to I.R. in Week 4 and is now eligible to come off it and play against Jacksonville this Sunday.
Fantasy Impact: If Watkins plays, Yahoo! ranks him as the 61st-best receiver in Week 12. He would face a Jaguars defense allowing the fourth-fewest points to receivers this season.
Even if he is active, keep Watkins benched this week. He needs to demonstrate how healthy he is and how able to make an impact in this offense and for your fantasy team before he is worth playing.
