These were the moments fans feared when Kevin Durant chose to leave the Oklahoma City Thunder to join the Golden State Warriors over the summer.
With just under four seconds left until halftime, the T’Wolves couldn’t ask for a better situation. Golden State’s play had broken down, leaving Durant a few feet from the half court line.
But Durant’s not your average basketball player. No, this guy’s really good at basketball. Really, really good.
So, naturally as an exceptional player, KD made a move. Durant shifted Ricky Rubio with a devastating crossover before pulling up and draining a 29-foot three-pointer. And if you look at the video closer, you can see Steph Curry celebrating by hitting his best “Mannequin Challenge” impression.
