DeAndre Hopkins starts game vs. Chargers with absurd hot potato catch

DeAndre Hopkins tipped a ball to himself for a 19-yard reception.

DeAndre Hopkins has had an underwhelming season with Brock Osweiler at quarterback, but the Houston Texans wide receiver is still plenty capable of making highlight receptions.

He reminded everyone of that just three minutes into a Week 12 game against the San Diego Chargers when a pass from Osweiler rocketed over his head. Hopkins was able to stop the ball out of the air with a left-handed stab, then tip it to himself for a 19-yard reception.

Hopkins has eclipsed 100 receiving yards just once in 2016, but his tip drill catch was a good way to get started against the Chargers.
