Dwight Howard channeled his inner point guard with a wild pass to the backboard
How about a do-over?

The Dwight Howard experiment in Atlanta seems to be working so far. The team is currently above .500. One thing that isn’t working, however, is Howard’s handles, at least not during Wednesday’s game against the Suns.
As he grabbed a defensive rebound, you can tell that he instinctively searched for a teammate so he can quickly dish the ball. The last thing you would expect was him attempting to take the ball himself as if he was a point guard. But, that’s exactly what he did.
His big man perspective and desire to pass it to someone with more formidable ball-handling skills dwindled around the halfcourt line. That’s when he went full point guard and tried a one-handed fancy pass to ... the backboard. It didn’t work like he wanted it to, and this footage will probably be featured in a blooper reel near you.
