The 46th running of the New York City Marathon is set for Sunday, Nov. 6 and should be very exciting. The race is an oddity in that it attracts the top marathon runners across the world, but record-setting pace and earning the very best times haven’t been the focus over the years, with a more tactics-driven style awarding the winners over the years.
